the PREEN show and Alexander Wang are my favorite collections so far. the solid pastel dark tonal hues, structured kind of draping, bras over blouses, cut outs...basically all too good for me to pass up in the PREEN collection. its just the type of color palate i love. and Wang was just brilliant this season with the use of pearls in a way so genius that i will pay anything to get his clothing, and his dark, contemporary twist to velvet draping with chiffon has got me melting with distain knowing i wont have enough money to snatch that as soon as its out. overall both collections were brilliant. and both had one similarity that is coming big in the fall. WATCH OUT FOR THIS TREND! cutouts!!! strange, oddly placed cut outs. and different focal points for draping have also been a big thing this season. if you want to get ahead on the wagon, check out HTTP://SHOPNASTYGAL.COM for cutout pieces. they've got some already.
