HAVE ANY OF YOU NOTICED THE SUDDEN/EXTREME TRANSITION FROM TAILORED PIECES TO BOXEY SILHOUETTES?! THE FASHION INDUSTRY ALWAYS NEEDS TO TAKE IT TOO FAR. LAST SEASON TAILORED PIECES WERE ALL THE RAGE AND NOW DESIGNERS LIKE HUSSEIN CHALAYAN, RICK OWENS AND OF COURSE BALENCIAGA HAVE TAKEN BOXEY FIGURES INTO CONSIDERATION. THEY WEREN'T SATISFIED WITH LAST SEASON'S TAILORED SILHOUETTES SO THEY HAD TO GET EXTREME! THEY TOOK IT UP A NOTCH AND NOW BOXEY FIGURES ARE ALL OVER THE RUNWAYS, RUNNING AROUND LIKE FANCY CARDBOARD BOXES. THEY JUST MADE IT HARDER FOR PEOPLE (ME) TO ENCAPSULATE THESE LOOKS IN EVERYDAY. REAL. LIFE. BUT I CANNOT DENY THAT THE TEXTURE, FABRIC AND SHAPE COMBINATIONS ARE EXTREMELY EYE CATCHING. INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK MY FRIENDS: BOXEY SILHOUETTES. AND WITH ALL THIS TAKING OVER MY BRAIN, I CAN'T HELP BUT GIVE CREDIT TO THESE DESIGNERS FOR INSPIRING MY LATEST JEWELRY PIECES THAT I FINISHED TODAY! I FINISHED ABOUT 5 NEW PIECES! PRODUCTIVITY AT ITS BEST!

Cheap thrills!

WARNING: Very unlikely post. I usually don't share my secrets but I have to share these amazing finds!
After my bday( on the 5th. Libras Unite!) I had some money to spend but I wanted to be super smart about it. I wanted to use the money I had and squeeze out as much as possible. So the best thing to do in that situation is to look for crazy cheap prices. Thrift stores are an old fad and they seem to be picked at too much these days, but the web is an endless outlet! I am going crazy over these look-a-like designer items and I'm sure most of you will be as thrilled as I am. I am a shoe girl so I purchased a ridiculous amount of shoes the past couple of days. These days I'm not one to jump impossible lengths to get the latest designer shoe ex: JC lita, or anything past $100. Im cheap. I like variety rather than just having a monotone collection of the same designer. There is more out there that is cheap and may not be designer but it sure as hell looks like it! Love you all! I hope you enjoy.

The top purse has been flying all over the blogosphere for months now. Neon is all the rage, and I admit, it has taken over my closet as well.

I dont know the designer of the top to the left but I have mentioned several times that I am crazy for Lurex/foil looking fabrics and ASOS just came out with several items that appeal to me but still too expensive for my taste.

My ego is happy

Ego and Greed has got to be my favorite shoe brand right now because they made my wish come true! They came out with their POLAND NEON WEDGES! No joke, I had these nude wedges(cheap. $100) that I worked on this past weekend and started painting them neon yellow cause thats how desperate I am for NEON shoes and now I can stop may ridiculous, self destructive project and buy these instead. Luckily Im a clever woman and painted it with washable paint cause I was testing out the look first. Not a good execution. Maybe I'll finish them anyways and give it a shine finish cause I just gotta finish it. BUT now I'll have my lovely POLANDS! I am a joyous woman right now. Words cannot explain my happiness for neon shoes. Im battling between the green or the yellow, and Ive already got pink shoes soooo... GREEN OR YELLOW?
