I've been trying to live up Cali while I'm still here cause I leave in less than one month for Portland! There's too much to do now that I don't want to leave cause Im enjoying California more than ever. Past couple of weeks have been chaotic and ridiculous in so many ways and of course too many reasons to dress up! and I'm growing my hair out. four years of being a pixie was a good run but its time for long hair.

Went to the beach more than once this summer(unbelievable!). Went to US open. Saw Mgmt. Got trampled by 15 year olds. Had drunken escapades and met a beautiful Portuguese man! Got party boy'd on by 5 guys on the dance floor last night.... and of course my sweet/bitter departure with my Peruvian galpal that I will never see again till she comes and visits me. My friends are the reason I don't want to leave this place but I know Portland will be good to me! Do any of you readers live in Portland?!

Franken Foods

Cuisine extraordinaire/dear friend, devon wardle finally started her own blog! She's the most amazing cook Ive come across. I've had the pleasure of tasting her food/creations, PLUS her cocktails(during our ladies cocktail night whilst watching multiple skins episodes...british version duh) My recent exposure to her brilliant cooking skills was over winter break when she straight up made me a midnight grilled cheese sandwich under 10 min. it had melted goat cheese, basil and other stuff that i cant remember but i do remember the orgasmic experience in MA MOUTH! there was an explosion of tastes getting all up in my tongue and i took every bite like a fuckin beast. i wanted one more but i didnt want to seem like a greedy ass pig, so i restrained myself. But i think I've proven my point that she has enough credibility to start a food blog. okay. this aint no julie and julia. this is devon wardle and her friend greg! they JUST started it so its a baby blog but follow them!

The vintage picnic

I went on a picnic this past saturday(only day off i had) and I just loved being enveloped with thousands of towering trees around me. Me and my lovely hat. For us, a pleasant day is having a tasty late lunch/ early dinner in a park. I prepared some pasta salad with feta, cherry tomatoes, celery, and some balsamic vinegar. with edamame lightly soaked in soy sauce, some mini pita breads with spicy hummus, and some green tea with gluten free brownies to finish it off and touch of refreshing blueberries. YUM!
I love me a good ole hat!

We covered the bench with vintage calico fabrics and it was just all too lovely. 

Now im one with nature, and have grown insanely obsessed with the idea of Equestrian picnics! ya you read that combo right! I found this photo via: thesnailandthecyclops.com

Just us three girls, as it always is. Mama Sarah, Eela and Me! I wanted so badly to climb on the trees, but do to my lack of long legs, and unfortunate petite stature, I couldn't stand a chance. It would only be possible if i was some kind of leaping spider monkey or something of that sort. 

Equestrian with a mix of gypsy with another mix of my eclectic side will be a fun dress up day. Tomorrow I will post photos.
